Professional modeling clay for dolls and props
Plasticine is the type of modeling clay used in professional stop motion film studios, and once you've had this material in your hands once, there's no going back.
Slap on the colors - as they are or mixed together
The Standard colours are the five colours included in our Piximakey Education Animation case. The colours can be used as is, but are designed to mix new colours - for example, the Standard set contains magenta and turquoise clay instead of the classic primary colours tomato red and warm blue. Together with the yellow, white and black clay you get the primary colours used by an inkjet printer, resulting in bright and vibrant colours when you mix pink, purple, violet and green.
Tomato red can be conjured up by adding a little yellow to magenta - while a little red can be mixed into the turquoise blue to create a warmer blue. Self-mixed colours can be supplemented with clay from the "Mother Earth" set, which contains more natural muted colours.
Nice to hold in your hands and safe from 3 years+
Soft to the touch, easy to shape, yet hard enough to hold its own weight, Piximakey modeling clay is perfect for bringing ideas to life, shaping, animating - and recreating into new characters when you're ready for your next film project.
Imagination, mindfulness and fine motor skills
Experience the meditative joy of shaping whatever your heart desires, mixing a rainbow of brilliant colors, and transforming a lump of clay into a unique character.
Shapes that hold their shape so you can get the perfect shot
Get the perfect shot of your character without worrying about whether it will hold its pose or collapse. Dolls made from regular modeling clay are typically too soft to hold themselves in upright positions, whereas plasticine is much better at supporting itself - even without fixtures, wire skeletons or other aids.
The oil-based, non-drying formula lets you shape, animate and reshape
Forget about crumbly modeling clay and rock-hard lumps of dried clay. Piximakey's animation clay is oil-based, ensuring it won't dry out. Dolls can be animated months after they were made, and leftover clay can be kneaded together and used for new creations.
Reuse, refill and recycle
One can of Piximakey modelling clay is enough for one solid-colored doll, but all colors can be mixed to create beautiful shades. When the clay in the can is used up, you can refill it with a slice of our 1 kg modelling clay rolls. Broken cans can and should be recycled - they are made of aluminum and should be sorted as metal.
CE approved from 3 years and up.
